ASOIU hosts educational discussion on "Reduce Sugar, Extend Life!"

On April 8, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) hosted a meeting organized by the Department of Organic Substances and Technology of High-Molecular Compounds within the framework of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency’s (AFSA) “Reduce Sugar, Extend Life!” campaign.

The event brought together Food Engineering students and featured presentations by representatives of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Institute and AFSA on “Hazards of Sugar,” “Sugar Substitutes,” and “The Importance of Fruits and Vegetables in Daily Diets.”

The event aimed to raise awareness of healthy lifestyles and balanced nutrition, with a particular focus on responsible sugar consumption. The meeting concluded with a Q&A session.
