ASOIU hosts forum on “Healthy Food - Realities and Prospects”

On May 26, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) hosted the forum “Healthy Food – Realities and Prospects”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Organised by ASOIU’s Department of Organic Substances and Technology of High-Molecular Compounds, the forum focused on food safety, healthy nutrition, food science, functional and organic foods, sustainable agricultural production, and the impact of food on human health.

The event featured presentations by representatives of ASOIU, Lankaran State University, Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, Azerbaijan University of Technology, the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency, and other institutions. Professor Amin Mousavi Khaneghah delivered a presentation on “Food Science in Azerbaijan.”

The forum concluded with remarks by Professor Fariz Amirov, Head of the organising department, and certificates of appreciation were presented to the speakers.
