Volunteer blood donation campaign held at ASOIU

On October 3, a volunteer blood donation campaign organized by the Republican Blood Bank of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

In addition to ASOIU employees, students also voluntarily participated in the blood donation campaign, joining this humanitarian action to help people in need of blood.

The health of each donor was determined on the spot by a special medical brigade dispatched by the Central Blood Bank, and blood analyses were taken from them to determine whether they were healthy or not.

It should be noted that the collected blood reserve will be checked and stored for those suffering from thalassemia. The purpose of the campaign is to support patients in need, promote a healthy lifestyle, and contribute to increasing social responsibility among young people.
