ASOIU holds seminar titled
On December
4, a seminar titled “Healthy Foundation - Healthy Future” was
organized at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) within
the framework of the “Healthy Tomorrow” project.
Participants
in the seminar included Nəsiba Amirbeyova, Advisor to the ASOIU
Rector for Social Issues, university staff and students, as well as Laman
Mursagulova, Deputy Director of the Baku Central Health Center, Esmira
Hajiyeva, Head of the Department for the Organization of Mother and Child
Health, Nargiz Karimova, Senior Specialist of the same department,
and Gunel Farajova, Senior Specialist of the Public Relations and
Event Organization Department.
The experts
presented on the topic, providing information on the principles of healthy and
balanced nutrition, the negative effects of harmful beverages and unhealthy
foods on the human body, as well as the risks posed by smoking and other
dangerous habits. They also discussed common health problems encountered by
young people in daily life and explained ways to prevent them.
The goal of
the event was to promote healthy lifestyle habits among students, and increase
awareness regarding proper nutrition, protection against harmful habits, and
modern health challenges.
The
seminar, held in a discussion format, answered students' questions and
emphasized the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle for both individual
development and overall social well-being. Participants noted that the
continuous holding of such educational events makes a significant contribution
to increasing awareness among young people.
