Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Office
The EDI Office at Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) is the primary institutional body designated to coordinate, monitor, and implement the university’s commitment to fairness and inclusion.
Governance Note: The EDI Office serves as the "Institutional Owner" for university-wide ethical and inclusion policies, overseeing specialized units including the Ethical Compliance Office and coordinating accessibility standards with the Office of Disability Services.
Core Strategic Responsibilities
- Policy Ownership: Developing and revising the Holistic Ethical Policy and EDI framework every two years.
- Institutional Monitoring: Consolidating case statistics into the Annual Ethics and Integrity Report for the Rectorate.
- Specialized Oversight: Supervising the Ethical Compliance Office to ensure objective investigations into misconduct or discrimination.
- Accessibility Coordination: Working with the Office of Disability Services to manage Individual Accessibility Plans (IAP) and inclusive housing.
