ADNSU tələbələri “WaterTech Bootcamp 2025”də birinci yerə layiq görülüblər

Students of the Petroleum, Oil and Mining Faculty of the SABAH groups at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) — Seyyar Abdullayev, Ayxan Ismayilov, and Sevda Shafiyeva — have achieved success in the “WaterTech Bootcamp 2025” intensive training and hackathon program.

The four-day marathon featured two days of intensive training sessions, followed by two days dedicated to the hackathon stage and final presentations. During the event, teams worked on innovative ideas aimed at water resources management and solving environmental challenges.

Among the 14 competing teams, the “HydroNET” team, which included ASOIU students, won 1st place, becoming the champion of the competition.

This achievement by ASOIU students is regarded as a clear example of their innovative approach, contribution to addressing environmental issues, and strong team spirit.

The “Zəngəzur BANM” team won 2nd place, while “Hydro Guardians” took 3rd place in the competition.

It should be noted that the “WaterTech Bootcamp” program was organized for the first time in the region by the Scientific Research Institute of Water and Melioration (public legal entity) and SUP VC, with the support of the EU4ClimateResilience project (European Union’s Decarbonisation and Climate Resilience initiative in the Eastern Partnership).

The bootcamp was held with the aim of combining young people’s creativity, technological potential, and teamwork.
