ASOIU Students Strengthen Their Theoretical Knowledge at a Production Facility

Within the framework of cooperation between the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) and ATS Food LLC, a new stage of organizing student education within an industrial environment is being implemented. This initiative allows students to master their theoretical knowledge directly in a real production setting, while simultaneously gaining skills and knowledge that meet industry requirements.

As part of the project, the entire educational process for one of the specialized subjects for 12 students majoring in "Food Engineering" at ASOIU has been organized at the production base of ATS Food LLC. Classes are held regularly every Thursday throughout the semester at the facility and are organized within the framework of the "Industry-Connected Engineering Trainings" (ICET) program.

During the educational process, students connect theoretical knowledge with real production processes, learn the principles of working in an industrial environment, and develop professional skills in their specialty. The classes are conducted in the Healthy Food Laboratory, Medicine Laboratory, BISMAK Laboratory, and the Microbiological Laboratory, which are part of the production and quality control structure of ATS Food LLC.

This pilot initiative is of great importance in terms of strengthening university–industry cooperation, aligning education with labor market requirements, and providing students with practical-oriented knowledge.

ASOIU and ATS Food LLC aim to continue supporting the professional preparation of students through such collaborations in the future, ensuring they enter the labor market with knowledge and skills formed in a real industrial environment. This partnership will contribute to young specialists making a successful start to their future careers.
